Näyttää siltä, että ensi vuonna ruskea ja mustavöisten pitää olla rekisteröitynyt IBJJF:lle jos haluavat kilpailla liiton kisoissa. Seuraavana vuonna sama koskee jo alempia vöitäkin.

"Membership ID required for all brown and black belt competitors.
All Brown and Black Belt athletes are required to hold a valid IBJJF Membership ID at the moment of registration. this will apply to all IBJJF events set forth.

Now ALL Black AND BROWN belts must be registered with the federation and therefore have a federation ID card to compete. I knew this was coming but did not think it would happen in 2012. Also, plan on seeing the same thing for purples in 2013 and blues in 2014.
THIS has big implications for those who compete. It means that if you want to compete under your school, you have to make sure your school is registered with the IBJJF as well as your coach.
Please make your preperations now for next year as it can take a while to get all of your paperwork in order. "
